Free Work?

So I think I have a good idea.

Free Design Work.

Yep, that's right. FREE, like F-R-E-E. As giveaways. I think this would only work with some more followers, or else
Twig would win every time right now, and her stuff is beautiful already and not in need of help. (I don't think), but of picking a follower at random via the "paper in the hat" procedure, and designing some kind of marketing collateral for them.
  • Sidebar buttons
  • Banners
  • Print Ready paper flyers
  • Advertisements for print or web
  • Business Card designs
  • Logo design. YES I would give away a logo design. (That's quite the prize, IMHO)
  • No websites. I hate making complete websites though I am quite capable. I hate them so much I charge for each and every one of them.

So, if you think this is a good idea, or a great idea, or a crapshoot, let me know. If you like it, tell everyone you know about it, and if I can get 10 followers, I will commence with the free design giveaways. If I can get 10 followers, I will post the rules, which I have to think about. 1 design, be it logo, banner, ad, etc., and it will be emailed in a print or web ready format to the winner to do with what they wish! Have a great day!

  3. Sounds like a great and very unique giveaway! Be sure to advertise it in the Etsy forums, I think a lot of people there would be very interested.

  4. I just did a wonderful blog re-design but I would be soooooo all over an original design I could use on notecards. When you decide to do it, let me know and I'll post it on my blog. Somedays it's getting pretty busy there!

  5. One last idea...you might want to try participating in my Alphabe-Thursday. Do you post on Wednesday night, though, so you'll be far up on the list. There's only about 40 people doing it right now but I think it is growing. Just a thought.
